Our stables sit on Mantafushi, a small island joined to Maafushi by road. Guests never need a boat: our buggy collects them from any guesthouse or the jetty and brings them back after the ride.
Rides are at walking pace, one guide per booking, on gentle Marwari horses. No experience is needed and most of our guests have never sat on a horse before. Riders take turns on the horse, so a group of two takes about twice as long as one.

Every ride ends on the sandbank, where the water is knee-deep and the light is best. This is where the photos your guests post come from.

Everything is built from the same simple card: a price per rider, a ride length, and optional photos or video. These are the combinations guests ask for most.
Beach Ride
20 minutes per rider · from $70 per rider
The classic. Along the beach and into the lagoon at walking pace. Perfect first ride, perfect for families.
Sunset & Sunrise
Same price, the best light of the day
The 17:30 and 06:00 slots go first. Recommend them for couples and anyone booking photos.
Couples & Proposals
Two riders, photos or drone added
A private ride for two with a photographer on the sand. We have hosted proposals, honeymoons and anniversaries.
Long Ride
1 to 3 hours · $150 per rider per hour
For riders who want a proper ride: the length of the island, the sandbank and back, at their own pace.
Free pickup
Buggy from any Maafushi guesthouse or the jetty, and back.
Guide on every ride
Walking pace, one guide per booking, helmets provided.
No experience needed
Most guests are first-time riders. Children ride with a parent alongside.
Pay on the day
USD, EUR or MVR. No deposit, free cancellation up to 4 hours before.
Agent rate card
One price per rider.
Partners pay 20% less than the public price on every line. Keep it as commission or pass it on to your guests.

How it works
Booking for your guests

Get your partner code
Message us on WhatsApp (+960 989 3389). We register your property or agency and send your code the same day.

Quote from the card
Price per rider, ride length, add-ons. No seasons, no group tiers, no surprises.

Book
WhatsApp us the date, time, rider count and media, or use your code at islandstables.com/book-now. We confirm within the hour in season.

We collect the guest
Free buggy pickup from any guesthouse or the Maafushi jetty, and drop-off after the ride. Guests from resorts or other islands arrange their own speedboat to Maafushi.

Settle monthly
Every booking with your code records your net price. Pay the month’s bookings in one transfer, or your guests pay us on the day and we refund your share.
Good to know
- Sunrise (06:00) and sunset (17:30) slots go first from December to February.
- Walking pace, one guide per booking. Children ride with a parent walking alongside.
- Free cancellation up to 4 hours before the ride, 12 hours for photo packages.
- Guests pay on the day in USD, EUR or MVR. No deposit.
